Resources You Can Use

  • Creating Canadian Movements for Change

Tamarack - An Institute for Community Engagement, Waterloo, ON. , 2005

At Tamarack, our interest in movements for change has grown out of our belief that solutions to complex problems, such as poverty and racism, will require engaged communities working together in new and innovative ways. In the summer of 2005 we began a research project aimed at gathering a wide range of resources and opinions on movements for change. We started with a question: Can you deliberately create a positive movement for change in Canada? This report shares the learning generated from the input of contacts from across the country as well as an extensive library and web search. (October 2005)
